I’m not sure it’s even fair for me to review this tea, since I am not a fan whatsoever of red rooibos.
Good points: It has less of that “wet dog” note than most red rooibos, but it’s still very present.
Seems to be a nice quality- very handsome, robust rooibos leaves brewed to a gorgeous mahogany colour.
Bad points: The “rose” flavour combined with the rooibos gives it a rather unpleasant medicinal note. It even smells of cough syrup- that boozy, cherry artificial scent.
This one, sadly, is a tosser for me. Worth exploring if red rooibos with a boozy cough syrup infusion is to your personal taste. Again, I hate all those notes so take my review with a grain of salt. I tried to give objective points for the tea quality, however.

I also dislike red rooibos. It always always reeks of Robitussin to me. I had one from Lupicia that was pretty good – maybe Caramel Rum or something? – mainly because the flavorings drowned out the red rooibos. I love green rooibos for flavored tea, though!
Yes- Robutussin! I was trying to recall the name of that awful cough syrup. I’m in the same boat as you- green rooibos all the way! I can tolerate some reds but they mostly have that awful note that I just cannot get over.
