drank Caramel by Adagio Teas

This tea is just okay, nothing special. The first time I prepared this tea it seemed weak. I brewed stronger the second time, but it still seemed kind of weak and tasteless. Tried with stevia only, as well as almond milk plus stevia. Not terrible, but there are better caramel teas out there.

Finally, a chai that isn’t overly spiced – this one is mild and just right. The vanilla flavor was present, but could have been a little stronger. Prepared with almond milk and stevia. A nice warm, cozy, winter drink.

I really like this one. There is some tartness, as others have noted, but nothing excessive. I think the tartness is about equal to a green apple. The flavor is more berry than tea. I’m sure it would be great iced. Prepared with splenda.

Good cherry flavor, just the right amount of tartness. The rooibos gives it a little bit of a woody flavor. Prepared with stevia.

Lots of tart passion fruit flavor. The aftertaste is more berry with a touch of something herbal. Tastes a lot like a less intense version of Tazo’s Passion tea. This tea blend looks great, with huge chunks of fruit and leaves. It is a little weak – I used three heaping teaspoons to about 14 ounces of water. Prepared with stevia.

This one is growing on me more with each sip. Decent fruit flavor (but could be a little fruitier for my tastes). Has a very malty, almost creamy flavor. Doesn’t need any milk added. Prepared with lots of stevia, I like my fruit teas pretty sweet.

A nice, mild black tea. I don’t know if I would call it chocolatey, but it did seem to have a little cocoa flavor. Steeped two times, the second time just as good as the first. Forgot I was steeping the tea and remembered about 20 minutes later, but it did not seem to affect the flavor. No bitterness whatsoever. Prepared with almond milk and splenda. This was my first foray into loose leaf tea.

I love peach and like chamomile, but somehow this tea just didn’t work for me. This is basically a chamomile tea with a hint of peach flavor. It would have been nice if the tea had some tartness, but I couldn’t detect any. Drinkable, but nothing special.

Nice and fruity, just the right amount of tartness. It seemed like I did have to add more sweetener to it than usual (but I do like things sweet). I didn’t really taste the other flavors in it, just raspberry. I can’t wait to try this one mixed with black tea.
