149 Tasting Notes
I need to quit buying cinnamon flavored herbal teas – apparently I don’t like any of them. This tea was okay, but definitely overwhelming. The cinnamon/sweet taste was strong, but at least you could taste other spicy pumpkin pie type flavors. I prepared with almond milk and no additional sweetener, as it is plenty sweet on its own. Not a tea I would drink again by choice. Giving this one away.
This is an interesting tasting tea. It kind of reminds me of coffee, even though it tastes nothing like coffee (it also kind of reminds me of Irish Breakfast tea). I forgot I was making the tea and accidentally steeped it for about 15 minutes. I would call the flavor robust, but yet not too strong. Has a pleasant, lingering aftertaste and a nice roasted flavor. I’m not sure if it really energized me, this was my third black tea of the day. Prepared with almond milk and splenda.
Very yummy tea! Tastes and smells very warm and comforting, just like fresh baked cookies. Definitely an evening tea, I think this would make me a little too relaxed at work. I do wish the flavor was a little stronger though – it seems a little weak, regardless of steep time.
So yummy! I’m not a big mint person, but this tea is perfect. It has a nice mild flavor, rather than an in-your-face kind of mint. I re-steeped, and the second cup was just as good as the first. Tastes great with a little bit of chocolate flavored stevia. I went and bought three more boxes of this today.
This tea tastes exactly like a stick of Big Red gum. It is very sweet and very cinnamon (like red hot candies). Might be okay for baking, but I could not finish my cup of it.
Edit: I gave the rest of this box of tea to my Mom. It turns out this is her favorite tea, ever. Maybe I am the only person who doesn’t like this tea.
