Enjoying it! I haven’t had Pu Erh in a while so it’s a bit of a favor/texture shock at the moment.

Excellent. it’s always so smooth. I tend to describe this tea as “buttery” but I don’t think that gives people the right impression. This is a very nice tea and if you treat it right it’s not astringent at all. I like to brew it a bit cooler and shorter than the instructions suggest and I swish the infusion basket to make sure that the leaves are unfurling fully.

I think I understand the “buttery” description. It’s just so thick and smooth. Maybe it’s the mouth feel? I’m pretty happy with just 3 minutes for the infusion time, but I go for a full boil.

I tried it again with a longer infusion time (2:30) and with water heated until steam is rising in a column. I used slightly rounded teaspoons. This was a very good infusion.
