drank Ma Passion by Nina's Paris
1779 tasting notes

I drank this today courtesy of VariaTEA and our pre-arranged tea box drops – the stealthiest swap ever! It was a nice passionfruit blend that I enjoyed, but it didn’t wow me enough to make me want more. Still, I’m very happy to have tried it because there are lots of Nina’s teas I enjoy and I need some way to narrow it down!

Thanks Courtney for allowing me to steal a small sample of this from your stash! it was just as dark and rich and chocolatey as I imagined and I can totally see how this is the perfect base for the Chocolate Chip tea.

OMG. Just. It’s so good.

Thanks! (157)

Cameron B.

I ordered a sample of this earlier today and I’m pretty excited about it. :D

Here’s my sipdown for the evening! I drank it hot and was a little disappointed with it. It definitely works better iced! (158) I’m happy to have tried it though!

Backlog: (cleaning up old teas from my cupboard that are long gone!)
I didn’t like the rose in this. It just wasn’t for me, although ocassionally rose is done well.) Thanks anyway, Sil!

a rose tea by any name would still be a rose tea i don’t wanna drink :)

Backlog: Here’s another one I drank several iced cups of, and enjoyed quite a bit! It didn’t blow my mind, but the price was reasonable and it makes a decent summer tea!

Backlog: I cold-brewed it but it was too tart/bitter for me to drink unless I added in more sugar than I would prefer to drink. Too bad! Maybe I need to experiment with another sample!

I can taste pear! Crisp, ripe pear!
Sadly I can also taste rooibos. Lots of woodsy rooibos. :| Enjoyable overall but I wouldn’t want more.

Thanks VariaTEA for letting me try it out though!

drank Cotton Candy by DAVIDsTEA

Here’s another one I bought today that I totally didn’t need, but… was curious about? This is actually the second steep because I gave the first to a friend, but it was still spot-on – just less sweet. I think 30g is enough though. It’ll be perfect when I’m craving something sweet!

Tea: I just started drinking loose tea in the fall of 2012, and once I started I had to get more and more and try ALL THE TEAS. Joining Steepster made this worse/easier.

So far it seems that I prefer unflavoured black teas, although I still drink a few that are flavoured each day too. Oolongs, greens, puerhs and white teas are all very good, but I just don’t crave them as often.

Me: Ok. Random things. I like animals, I have a little girl and a devoted bf, two cats, and … I’m a geek. I like Lord of the Rings, Sherlock, Doctor Who, Game of Thrones, Supernatural, fandom!, pen&paper RPG’s, online RPG’s, video games, silly internet memes, puzzles and a bunch of others things! I taught myself to knit and I’m considering crochet but I need to make time for all these things!

I keep trying to learn languages on Duolingo and failing. I’m currently failing Esperanto. :P

1-50: Bleh.
51-64: It’s ok.
65-75: It’s good.
76-85: It’s very good. (Buy 1oz+)
86-100: Amazing. (ALWAYS re-stock)
