Am I ever glad I listened to my instincts and bought this one. It’s liquified fruity comfort in a cup. Ok, that sounded weird, but it’s fantastic.

Frank was very generous with the chunks of apricot in this one. As soon as I opened the pouch, I was hit with the sweet aroma of apricots and/or peaches. I can tell the difference between the two, but here, I swear there is both. Don’t get any cheesecake notes at this point.

The first steep was a burst of homemade apricot preserves in my mouth. I couldn’t detect any cheesecake, however, there was a noticeable creaminess that was reminiscent of whipped cream. And the Shou Mei is oh so delicate.

I’m on my second steep right now, and while the apricot is still present, the creaminess is virtually non-existant. Still enjoyably fruity, but substantially weaker than expected.

Love this tea. I wouldn’t hesitate to purchase another pouch if there were still more left next time I order. A billion thumbs up, Frank.

Azzrian Thanks for this!

This smells like butterscotch and tastes like a nicely flavored black tea based-Butterscotch.

Usually – I can take or leave Butterscotch Flavored things but this is really something! It’s creamy and buttery, sweet, and fairly malty for a flavored black! It’s very nice! Thanks again!

You are most welcome! :)

I’m the first one to log this blend – yay! Thanks again for the fast shipping, Frank!

I thought I would try this tisane because I am pretty fond of blueberries, though I was fairly skeptical it would live up to a streusel. This is pretty yummy though, I am getting a lot of blueberry flavor along with a bit of buttery sweetness. I did add soymilk to mine which I think helped with turning it into more of a dessert type of flavor. Overall it’s very tasty! I think I will be finishing this up very soon…

Story Time: School just started up again last week. I think this semester won’t be too bad. Most of the classes I have are in graphic design. It has been raining and gray for the past few days now thanks to the storm out in the gulf. I don’t mind the rain(I like it), but when i goes on for so long I get sooooo lazy.

Tea Time: This awesome sample was from Will Work For Tea
Being a coconut lover I was really excited to try this tea. The smell of this is like smelling a bag of sweeten coconut flakes…..YESTH! The leaf makes a really nice reddish liquor as well. OMG This smells and taste like drinking sweeten coconut shavings mixed with cream. IT IS SOOO GOOD!!! The only thing that is holding it back is that i don’t really taste the pie crust or something like that.

Overall I would highly recommend this to someone who is a coconut lover.

P.S. You can get two good steepings from this.

Farewell tea sample! You were wonderful while I had you. This was a really delicious light berry tea. I’m really glad I got the chance to try it.

Sip down!

Babble

Ooh this one sounds nice!

Sil

Rachel it was. Sadly, as with most 52 teas..it came, it’s gone. It’s part of the reason I’m less inclined to order from them these days…if i REALLY love a tea, i can’t get more by the time i gets to canada 90% of the time. I’ll stick to his permanent collection

Babble

That’s a good point, although he seems to be reblending the really popular stuff.

I’m jealous you live so close to David’s Tea though.. LOL.

Sil

@ rachel – I don’t particularly LIKE DT so i’ll trade you fast shipping for a DT location near you haha

Babble

I guess DT always seems to be doing cooler things than Teavana. Maybe it’s just a typical American thing where I want what I can’t have.

I’m pretty sure indigobloom gave me this one, but if it was Kittena, she’ll be too busy to notice :)

I really like this tea, it’s every thing I want in a berry tea, when I’m drinking a berry tea. I can imagine that it would be super nice iced. I really like the balance that this tea has. None of the flavours are overpowering the others. It’s not too sweet nor is there any bitterness to it.

It was Indigobloom :)

Ok my new favorite tea company has to be 52 Teas. Frank, I wish all tea companies had your flavoring flare. As silly and gimmicky as Cotton Candy Tea sounds, it desearves much respect and praise. A fantastic black base and real cotton candy flavor. Wonderful. Thank you LiberTEAS for adding this to the pack I bought from you.

Oh yum! This is best if you let it cool for just a couple of minutes – the marshmallow flavor emerges more when it is slightly cooler than the fresh from the teapot hot temperature. I love the way this is blended – the Yun Wu offers a lighter, sweeter, nuttier flavor than the Chinese Sencha that 52teas customarily uses for their green tea blends, and I am loving the difference. I still love the Chinese Sencha too, but this Yun Wu makes for a deliciously different, refreshing change.

Very lemony… but I like that the lemon does not overpower the other flavors throughout the sip, it saves most of it’s very strong flavor for the aftertaste. This tea reminds me of lemon meringue jelly bellys. YUM!

I really love this tea, am so glad I finally got around to trying it. Seriously folks, I have so much tea here waiting for me to try. :)

Sil

Feel like this is one I need to try sometime since everyone seems to like it a lot

Thank you so very much, LiberTEAS, for this tea included in the samples I recieved from you.
I didn’t know what to expect, I’ve never had a tea meant to taste like wine. Making a game of it my wife and I smelled the dry leaf without reading what it was. She said blueberries first, then recanted not sure. I said bubblegum. She was much closer obviously(though I shall revisit my choice later).
The wet leaf has a sweet malty aroma. The liquor is e deep red with just a smidge of brown.
I was surprised at how much it remineds me of wine, though it’s been over ten years since I’ve had any of it. The flavor is malty as well, with floral notes. I swear they snuck fermented grapes into this concoction…IT TASTE LIKE WINE.
The bubblegum comes into play in the afterflavor, I think it’s sugar free but I don’t chew much gum so can’t place it.
I’m really impressed with this glass of wi…I mean cuppa tea. Not an everyday drinker, but something to savor late at night just before bed which is befitting because…goodnight.

I love the fruity scent of this tea and it’s interesting to look at too, with white, green and brown leaves of varying shades. The flavours are quite a mish-mash though not an unpleasant one. There’s the nutty notes from the white teas, vegetal notes from the green teas, and toasty notes from the Formosa oolong. The fruity apricot notes are there too although I wish the tea was a bit sweeter, as I think that would accent the fruit flavours a bit better. Maybe if the blend had just a green oolong base maybe?

I love the fragrance of the steeped tea which reminds me of a lemon creme biscuit. I recommend steep time of 2 min or less; the temperature can be as high as 185 but I feel shorter steep keeps the tea from turning bitter.

3 min too long a steep for me. Try 2.5 min next time. Still, not ruined but prefer less bitter tea. I do love the additives in this. The flavors stay with you for a while after you drink it.

there’s this nasty stomach bug going around, it started in my house last Monday when my youngest got it, I ended up having it Thursday & felt like I was dying & managed to get it again on Saturday, but with cramps so bad I was in tears. woke up this morning & my youngest started puking & just as my oldest is ready to leave for school her cramps start & now she’s got it. to top it off my sitter had to fly home for a funeral, so I had to miss work again today.

so sip down day it is. Still yummy, even though it’s a lil older.

I received this in a swap from Madeline Alyce
I originally made this this.morning to head out to the park with my girls while they enjoyed the weekend celebrating our area of town. I ended up not drinking it and then we got caught in a very cold downpour, I re-heated.it but it was a little bitter from sitting so I added a bit of honey and some milk. So yummy! I would imagine this.is what bananas foster actually tastes like (I’ve never had Tue real thing). It was nice and creamy and banana tasting, and maybe slightly caramely tasting. The dr notes and the stepped tea smell more like bananas than it tastes. Overall another great tea from 52 teas.

Wow. If you want a tea that tastes exactly like what it says, this is a good one to try. You can taste the nutty overtones very strongly, and there’s a hint of chocolatey caramel that mixes distinctively with the cashews. If I chew on my ice cubes it’s like I’ve eaten a little sweet treat without the guilt. I am on an iced tea kick, as usual in the summer, and this one is brilliant over ice. I use a splash of half & half to up the creaminess, and I sweeten with splenda. I’m sure it would be just as lovely with other sweeteners, especially honey (I imagine it taking on a honey nut cheerio flavor) — overall I think this tea is really wonderful for a hot summer day, or as an after dinner tea. Really, it’s great any time of day, but I don’t really place time restrictions on tea with the exception of chamomile (bedtime). Love it, love it!!
