I finally purchased this and I’m glad I did! It’s scent is not overbearing by any means. There isn’t too much of one scent but it’s reminiscent of several things. Typical Black Tea Color. Taste is Medium to Medium – Strong depending on how you steep and right at the end of the sip there’s an upward sweetness almost. Great cuppa to start the day!!!
After today I should only have enough for one more attempt. I don’t know if I will re-order this one at least not for a while. I’m looking forward to discovering some new teas from Adagio. Regardless this smells of Minty-M&Ms today…but taste more green tea-esque than in previous infusions. Still an OK cuppa!
One of my absolute favorite dessert teas. Inspite of the MASSIVE amount of tea I do have, I’m sad I’m out of this one.
What do you think will be in your next Adagio order? I feel like I’ve ordered most of the ones that I wanted to try.
I may have steeped this just short of 3 minutes but it still seemed to work. It’s very enjoyable.
Eventho in a previous review I said NOT to oversteep I am contradicting myself yet again! Today I oversteeped…but with less loose leaf steeping. I steeped about 1.5 Tablespoons for about 7 minutes and it still came out good. So…I’m thinking oversteep is ok with loose leaf moderation.
I think I finally figured this one out! I have stated I have enjoyed this in the past but it always tastes different each time…either one flavor more than the other or too strong, etc. Most of the time I like over steeping but for this one I strongly suggest NOT oversteeping. It says 3 mins and I would do no more than 3 mins. I also used less loose leaf – ended up being terrific that way! YAY!
