So it turns out I didn’t actually have a lot of this blend, and now I’ve drunk it all down.
It never quite impressed me. I am not the biggest fan of peach in the first place, but I felt that the flavoring and the base never really worked.
But the tin is so pretty that I almost don’t mind. I am a sucker for a pretty tin….
But today, a sipdown!

So I am not the biggest fan of either green tea or peach, but I am a fan of Hinamatsuri, or Girls Day (which is coming up soon!), so this blend (in a very cute tin) was a must buy for me.
Initial sip is not overly impressive. I may have let it steep too long, and so we’ll see if it improves with a more watchful eye on the steep time.

Yonsei Blend is a mixture of green tea and chai tea. This tea has hints of vanilla and cinnamon at the very first sip. It’s somewhat hard to detect the green tea as the Indian spices overpower it, but every now and then you get hints of a vegetal taste from the bancha. The combination works to create a tea more luscious than either tea alone.
