This is REALLY Good!
I like Chai but don’t usually LOVE Chai! Mostly because of the spice over powering the black tea taste…and it being about the spice and only about the spice! BUT…this is really good. I’m THINKING I can say I LOVE THIS CHAI!
The aroma is marvelous! Chai, Creamy, Citrus!
The Black Tea is true and bold. When HOT there is a nice amount of spice but I am REALLY excited about the Vanilla and Citrus pops in this blend! They are awesome!
As it cools or even if done ICED I find the spice tastes rapidly increase and are much more extreme but the vanilla smooths it and the citrus gives it that extra something.
I really like the idea of this one! It’s nicely done! It does seem versatile too! Nom. Nom.

Review of the day!
Part Sweet – Part Floral = Completely Buttery!
I know “mouth feel” is a technical/official tea tasting/reviewing term but it’s one of those words I don’t personally use a lot because it drives me nuts…sort of like the way the words “panties” or “shindig” drive me nuts and the way the word “chunk” drives my sister crazy and a friend of mine cringes every time he hears the word “moist”. I really don’t know what it is…I just don’t really like the word…I guess you could say it creeps me out. LOL
ANYHOW…I don’t know how else to describe this tho! Other than the “mouth feel” (eeeeekkkk cringe at the word) of this is TOP NOTCH!!!
This is a great Pouchong…totally lives up to it’s name!
HOLY APRICOT BATMAN!
But I LOVE Apricot…so…
The aroma is IN YO FACE Apricot right out of the package! Once infused the Apricot and Passion Fruit meet in the middle nicely. The taste is a very flavored black tea…mostly Apricot but I can pick up the Passion Fruit, too! I can’t taste too much a flower taste which is ‘fine by me’ and it’s a tropical fruity taste not really a fruity-floral taste like some tropical blends can be.
This one is very yummy, too!
This is totally YUMMY! When I read “delicately tart” – I was worried because that usually means “pretty darned tart” but this was TRUE to the description! There are honkin’ HUGE Papaya chunks in here and I LOVE IT! The black and green tea blend with the fruit seem to have the best of all worlds here. Lovely!
I love Darjeeling… so I usually like most Darjeeling teas that I encounter. However, sometimes I come across one that is really delightful… like this one.
The flavor is amazing. Sweet, light, a hint of nutty flavor and even a floral note. Very smooth. Golden! It seems to shimmer on the tongue, it tastes so good and light and lovely.
Preparation
I was in the mood for latte so I grabbed this Chai today – it is rich and spicy. The Assam is of good quality – no bitterness, malty and toothsome. The spices are delicious here and are nicely balanced: cardamom, cinnamon, cloves and ginger… the spices are warm and comforting on this overcast day and there is a very nice peppery kick at the finish!
This latte is smooth, rich, creamy and YUMMY!
Preparation
Wow… OK… I was sitting at the computer when the timer went off to let me know that this tea was finished infusing. When I walked into the kitchen – PEACH scent filled the air! It smelled so good. YUM.
The combination if the woodsy rooibos and the peach flavor creates an interesting taste – the flavor of the rooibos actually seems to cut through some of the sweetness of the peach which is something I really didn’t expect. Sometimes when I encounter a peach flavored tea the sweetness of the peach is quite intense – not that its a bad thing, because I love peaches – but I like how this tastes more like the fresh fruit rather than a processed, syrupy peach pie filling.
This is a very delicious and surprising rooibos! NICE!
Preparation
A very pleasant tea. You can read my full-length review of it here:

This is a remarkable black tea – very even tone to it. Pleasant chewiness, and even a hint of a malty note that is a bit uncharacteristic for a Ceylon tea! But the thing I’m enjoying most about it is that so delightful sweetness that is very honey-like. It is robust and brisk and yet smooth.
I am getting no bitterness to it at all, just a very pleasant, sweet flavor. There is only a slight astringency to it… it’s VERY VERY GOOD.
