Steeping:

1st Steeping:
Water Temp: 200 Fahrenheit
Time: 5 minutes
I have not had black tea in a while and I have these store brand teas that I purchased whilst back and I must use them or just let them sit as they have been occupying the shelves. Anyhow, I reached for one of the tea bag and put this in my cup and adding the hot and boiling water to it; I leave it to steep for five minutes.

The tea’s color is amber and has a roasted and grainy texture to it and when sipping of the tea it is smooth and rich.

2nd Steeping:
Water Temp: 200 Fahrenheit
Time: 5 minutes
I simply add more water into my cup and leave it to steep for several minutes. The tea is lighter in coloring and does maintain the grainy textured aroma and when I sip of the tea it is not as strong a cup of tea but good similarly so.

Overall tasting notes: robust cup of tea with a grainy/roasted texture.

Classification: Year, and region of production; China

Cup’s characteristic: black tea

Liquor color: bright amber that darkens with longer steeps

Taste: robust and not at all astringent

I think I’d like that. What grocery chain carries it, please?

I have not had tea such as this in a long while; at least not since having moved. I buy cheaper teas as it has nothing to do with it being a favorite or not. It is purely economical and yet I find I waste the money since it is truly best to buy for quality what you like and will enjoy than to purchase on impulse because something is inexpensive and available.

I purchased this tea whilst at a Family Dollar store along with several other items. And when I got home I fixed myself a cup of this tea; brewing the water hot and pouring water’s content into my tea mug with tea bag in it and leaving it to steep for few minutes. The tea’s is both rich and mellow; yielding in color a reddish-brown infusion with a light character and by this it is not as robust in flavoring and aroma.

I drink this tea with slow sips as I went about preparing the dinner and some other chores around the house. I continue to sip of this tea and adding more water to my cup for more tea. What is good about this tea is that it is very mellow and why perhaps it tends to be highly recommended for serving as iced tea with lemon and/or honey.

I am simply having several cup of this tea whilst hot and savoring the smoothness in the cup with a somewhat roasted aroma.
