Looks clear orange – very pretty color.

Smells like rooibos with a hint of fruity in general.

Tastes… hot lol :D
Other than that its yummy again. I’m not very experienced in tropical fruits so can’t really distinguish but it tastes tropical and in a very nice way. Goes along perfect with rooibos. Nice one. I imagine it would be most likely even better cold. And some sugar would make it more like juice. Depends what I’m in the mood for.

This company doesn’t make bad teas, there are some very good tea blends. And being able to actually go look and smell at them in the store is def a plus…

Didn’t drink black tea in a month so I decided to make one of my favourite flavoured ones. I just really like these flavours. I think the base black could be bit better but all together this is a yummy tea…

Second steep. I added little sugar and one coffee cream thingy in it. Its good just bit too mild. Would be better with the first steep. Anyways, as expected, milk goes well with it…

Quite desperate starting a week with whiskey ay? ;)

I mixed it up with plain black this time (trying to make it last longer). Its good, just quite milder on the flavors. Should try steeping it longer than 3 minutes as it says. Still definitely in the category of teas i wanna have in my stash. Preferably always…

I went shopping. Got a huge load of teas that are traveling my way from the states and UK and I’m not buying more unless its on a travel or till I’m done drinking these. Which could take looooong time.
OK now that I’ve made my decision public (lol don’t make me want new ones pls) here it goes…

Smells amazing. As amazing as it gets…
Like good black tea + good booze + coffee/cocoa smell… mmmmm.
I even made some for my boss :)

OK i might have over-steeped it cuz i forgot to take it out while sharing my joy :D Lets see…
Tastes good :D Strong black tea with aftertaste that well tastes like Irish whiskey drinks. Its bit bitter cuz i over-steeped. But good. Wonder how you all would rate these teas – still feeling very n00bish while giving ratings. This one is staying at my workplace. Need it to wake me up…

EDIT Steeped it several times with adding just a bit of fresh leaves. It’s still good just milder. Like that too…

Don’t fear the ratings — you can always go to the “Tea Ratings” section of your info and adjust accordingly. I love that page because I can make the rating exactly what I feel it should be and it makes little changes over time easier :)

This is still the best tea i ever bought in Croatia. The smell that comes out of the bag when i open it wow’s. Tastes rather good too. Very nicely flavored. Among the best flavored black teas I’ve drank…

The smell of this one, both of the leaves and tea itself is heavenly. Beats all the other ones like 10 times…
Hope it tastes good too. First black tea i’m trying. I’m doing the second steep while waiting for the first one to chill.
Color of the tea is closest to rooibos i guess. Bit lighter and maybe slightly less red. Its not 100% clear.
Smells mostly like vanilla and strawberry.
Second steep didn’t get quite as dark. I will see later if it picked up all the flavors of the first one. But in general i don’t mind when it doesn’t taste the same. It can still taste good even if its different.

The tea is way milder than id expect it for a black tea. But i like that. Been saving black teas for last with a reason. Not sure if my cold has influence on my tasting. Have that in mind…
Tastes like it smells – vanilla and strawberry. It has only a bit of black tea sourness instead of sweetness behind it. But its not strong at all. Not sure id guess its black tea by the taste. Color + taste maybe.
Anyways it smells very good and tastes quite good too. Gonna put some honey in. Pretty sure that will make it perfect for me.
Yep tried that and it makes it a really really yummy fruit flavored tea. Good rating.

Those cups are lovely! I’d get a kick out of gazing down into my cup and seeing fishies swimming around in my tea ;)

Trying a new tea again :) Got this one on purpose because its totally different then all the other ones I’ve got. Green tea with mint. Very strong minty smell.

I steeped it like 2 and a half minutes and got it right.

Color – rather bright for a green tea. Yellow. Not so clear like the others, probably because the green tea in it is in powder.

Smell – of the dry one is nice. The tea itself has a nice minty smell but also some unpleasant part of it. I dont know what. But that is the part i like least about this tea.

Taste – very refreshing. I can feel it work on my bronchitis affected throat. The freshness spreads. Its good without sugar tho half a spoon of honey makes it little bit better for me. Love it cold too. Ill try another steep later. Think it could be good…

Conclusion – another kind I quite like. The list is growing ;)

My laziness makes me make some wonderful experiments at time. This time i was lazy to heath up the already mildish water left after puehr.
So what i did is – i put one teaspoon of this oolong and like 7 or so leaves of that silver needle i bought big stash of. Both teas are just ok to me. Drinkable. And i was lazy to warm up the water – which i had just like a cup left.
So 1 teaspoon of oolong, one teaspoon of not so great silver needle in little over a cup of mild water for like 4 minutes or so. Its so tasty. Very gentle and light but omg yum. Like a very good white tea. Love it! Way to make one great tea from 2 teas that are just OK. I’ll be doing this again ;)

i got my ingenuitea pot delivered from UK today :) had to celebrate that with few cups of some nice loose tea. i was in the mood for oolong.

first of all the cup. its made from some kind of plastic but looks really firm. seams unbreakable. its quite thick and keeps warmth perfectly. i spilled some water around the place till i figured how exactly it works. but i love it.
basically if its on a flat surface it wont spill (don’t use the bed its bumpy enough to let some water/tea out use the stand). as soon as you put it on a glass the glass pushes the bottom part which opens the valve and tea starts pouring down. simple.
filter keeps all the little pieces of loose tea in the pot. you get crystal clear tea out of it. once u pour the water in the cups tea leaves remain inside wet but the pot still keeps all the flawors in.

the second steep was just as strong and tasty as the first one. that will lift my tea rating a bit. i like oolong because it tastes so simple and always quite alike.

I just came home half frozen from the carnival. Need hot nice tea.
This is my first oolong try.

Smell – well like tea. Guess kinda like black tea just less strong. I suppose its how oolong smells lol.

Color – clear, light brownish.

Taste – i like it. Didnt put in any sugar and dont want too because it tastes good to me. Not sure if i can taste that cherry part. It tastes to me like less strong black tea. Only thing i can compare to. Solid rating.

ok, kinda almost gave up on trying to like this one but today i hit some better combo obviously. no mixing and experimenting. steeped it just 2 minutes as it says, even a little bit shorter. i also put a teaspoon of homemade sage honey in it. drinking it while its still hot and actually liking it. i definitely steeped it too long first couple of times. this way with a short steep cloves aren’t too strong and the balance of it with cinnamon and all the fruity bits is way better. today it just suites me…

I visited a cute little tea shop today that was opened in Rijeka just recently.
Got this tea and oolong – both i have never tried before.

Tea is categorized as white even tho it has a big mix of ingredients.

First of all it smells amazing – the loose tea itself and the tea and whole room once u make it. Smells mostly of cloves. And that’s basically smell of winter and xmas. Its mixed with various fruit smells and cinnamon. Very very strong and aromatic.

Color is clear and very bright yellow. Almost white. I thought i havent steeped it long enough because of the color. But the smell was talking oh you so did…

Lets go taste it :) Without sugar first (even tho i always like it more with a lil bit). Mmmm i actually think i could drink this one without. Tasty and quite sweet itself. I can taste so many aromas. But its also very very mild. Very delicate. OK i just put in just a bit of sugar and yes – this is first time i can say the tea is better without. Maybe honey would be better for it.
I’ll try to steep it bit longer next time, would like it to be slightly stronger. Or put in more to steep.

So overall, it smells like winter but it doesn’t taste spicy enough. I might have done something wrong this time. Will experiment more with this one till i find a perfect measure. Haha red hot wine would help it…

This is the first white tea i’ve tried and i know in theory that they are supposed to be really mild and hence not for amateurs. That’s why my rating will probably be lower than it would be by someone more experienced.
