I usually don’t buy cups of tea; because I have never had a decent experience with them. I guess I was feeling “adventurous” last night. I traveled to Rochester, NY to celebrate St. Pattys day with a few friends. We ended up in several coffee shops (this being the only one that could tell me what company its tea came from) and I dipped into a few varieties. I enjoyed this very much and they used an immense amount of leaves too. The aroma was a strong citrus menthol, but the flavor was quite calm. It had a strong taste of deep earth and dark wood. I could only note at a slight bergamot and camphor flavor. This was a smooth drink and it warmed me up.

As a side note: this tea came from a company based not to far from where I grew up. I found it kind of amazing that even though I’m this far from home; I can still be reached by small reminders :)
