1 sachet for 250mL water @100C, steeped five minutes.

My experience with President’s Choice teas and tisanes has been anything from “Meh” to "Oh, God, no!’ I bought this one on w whim today, on a 2-for sale with some Kenyan tea sachets.

It’s , uh … safe. Not too much bergamot, and not too much rooibos. I detect no rose flavour or scent at all. The rooibos base is woody and a bit stale, so there’s not much rooibos sweetness. That said, it’s not a loss. It’s just … meh. Safe. I’ll drink it, but I won’t go our of my way to get it again.

I’ve been buying this tea for a few years. It’s a good Earl Grey Rooibos. The Earl Grey flavouring is strong enough but not overpowering. I enjoy it as an evening tea. My biggest beef is that the box the bags come in is HUGE and hard to fit in my tea cabinet. Each tea bag is sealed in a pouch which is HUGE too but by being sealed, it really stays fresh.

I usually don’t buy tea from the grocery store mainly because I have a tea house so close to home that I would rather purchase my tea from there. This tea was if I can say “horrible” it tasted more like a really bad cough syrup than anything else. It was too strong in taste. I would not recommend this tea at all!
