Sauvage-s

Sipped on a mug of this last night. It’s a very, very beautiful blend though I’m not 100% sure how I feel about the taste profile. There are elements that I dislike like the chamomile, and in general the fact it’s such a STRONG floral profile. However, there are also elements I enjoy a lot like the pineapple weed (which is SUCH a hard to find ingredient in tea blends). I actually wish there was even more of it included, truthfully. Our old office had a GIANT string of pineapple weed plants behind the parking lot that I’d walk past most days and crushing the buds up and smelling them was something I did often. I also felt like, even though it had a less distinct taste, the included hops was actually very relaxing so that was a bonus too!

Cold Brew!

Picked this one up at a local holiday market a few days ago. I think the name is so clever because it really does feel like drinking the most intense ice water – but that’s no surprise given the blend. It’s a mix of peppermint, spearmint, and wintergreen so you get A LOT of crisp, cooling menthol. As far as the taste goes, the wintergreen is surprisingly and delightfully the strongest of the three mints followed by the sweetness of all the crushed up spearmint. It’s very nice!
