This is pretty tasty. The pomegranate is prominent: sweet and tart. The vanilla comes in and softens the tartness just a bit, so that the palate can enjoy the contrast of flavors. The black tea is pretty mellow. An enjoyable tea, I’m liking this one iced!

I do not like this tea. It tasted fake to me, like nothing but fake flavoring, and it literally made me nauseous. I won’t be drinking it again.

After that glowing review, is there anyone out there who wants this? You might like it a lot more than I do. I hate to throw out tea, but this is not one I’ll be drinking, so I’d really like to give it a new home. It makes me super sad, because they’re a local company (Toronto is often shortened to TO…Tea Oh, get it?) But yeah. Not impressed. I hate to give it such a low rating, but it did make me sick.

That happened to me with Celestial Seasonings Apple tea. : (

I’m still sick and it’s been a few hours since I last drank it. My stomach has enough issues, thanks, it doesn’t need help. curls up with le digestif and dies

I understand your pain! Flavored teas are just such a hit or miss for me. I can’t stand it when something smells artificial even though they claim it’s natural flavoring.

Daddyselephant

Yeah, that’s my issue with eve 52teas ever. It all tastes fake to me.

Indigobloom

I’ve never had a decent apple tea experience. Fruit tea in general (except strawberry) in fact, has managed to escape me overall. I’m on a mission to find one of each I love!

I’m in a mood today and trying as many teas as I can before it wears off! This isn’t bad! I’m not sure I’d call that flavor pomegranate, but it’s good. The flavor is weak, the black tea strong, but it’s pretty good.

One issue I do take with this tea (that will not be reflected in the rating) is with the company themselves. All of the teas from them arrived in cheap, clear, plastic bags. Given the option, I would have happily paid extra for an opaque, quality bag, but such is life. It just makes me sad that so little respect is shown to their product.

Edited for a note to self: Definitely not worth restocking.

Another SIPDOWN!
Since it’s the end of the package – it seems I have floaties! I will enjoy most of the cuppa anyways! I can taste the chocolate more this time around and the mint is FAB! upping the rating…see previous notes…

Thanks LiberTeas!

This is really good…really minty – not as chocolatey but still tasty…it’s a little heavy on the particles – use a tight strainer!

Thank you TeaEqualsBliss for sending me a sampling of this tea.

I would rather be curled up under the covers, snoozing right now, but, I can’t because there’s too much to get done today! So, I decided that warming up with a cozy cup of this tea would be almost as good as the nap.

This is really quite tasty. The apple is well-defined in this cup with pleasant cinnamon notes. The cinnamon is done well in this blend, it isn’t too hot or spicy, but, it is pronounced well enough so that it encourages that “apple pie filling” kind of taste. The black tea is strong. Not particularly bold or aggressive, but strong enough to let you know that it’s there.

There is a “crust-like” taste that also hits the palate near the end of the sip. This is really tasty… like having apple pie for breakfast.

This is a delicious mint and chocolate black tea. The mint is crisp and cool and the chocolate is smooth and sweet. The black tea is strong without interfering with the flavors of the chocolate and mint. A bright, pleasant cup.

I haven’t tried a mint chocolate tea yet. I just put one in my cart on Harney and Sons today! I have high hopes for it…

drank Pecan Pie by Tea Oh

Thank goodness. See, now, I’m a good Southern girl raised in Tennessee who went to school in Kentucky. I love pecan pie. I live in Canada now and it’s hard to find a good pecan pie…but now I’ve found something that will definitely satisfy that craving.

After what happened with the Spicy Vanilla Chai, I was a bit worried about this tea, but no, it is heaven in a mug. I love it. Of course, it reminds me of home, so that might affect my rating a little. However, if they had screwed up pecan pie, I wouldn’t hesitate to give it a bad rating, so there you go.

drank Spicy Vanilla Chai by Tea Oh

I’m a bit…underwhelmed by this tea. It’s tasty, no doubt, but not at all what I had expected. When I first opened the bag, a puff of ground ginger came out, which was a bit off-putting. I taste tea and cardamom and I most definitely taste ginger, but I’m not catching a lot of vanilla. No milk, though that might help. I hate to say it, because Tea Oh! is a local company and I don’t like giving bad reviews, but it tastes kind of like a bad gingerbread cookie. There’s a definite ginger burn, I don’t know if they use dried ginger and it just fell apart or if they actually just used ground ginger which is…ick.

It’s an okay tea. If you like spicy chais, you might enjoy this one. I’m going to try it with some soy milk and see if that helps.

EDIT: I added soy (Natura unsweetened soy milk) and it helped me identify the flavor. It tastes like a cup of pumpkin pie spice, or a store-bought pumpkin pie where they used too much spice. shrugs This one might go up for swap soon.

drank Vanilla Haze by Tea Oh

Yum! The black tea is prominent – brisk and bold! The vanilla and hazelnut flavors are a bit lighter in flavor than I expected but I like it like this! The balance is just right.

A strong tea that would work just as well as a wake-me-up tea as it would a relaxing, contemplative tea. Nice with a splash of milk!

Thank you TeaEqualsBliss for sending me a sampling of this tea! YUM!

This has such a nice flavor. The green tea is soft and smooth, light bodied and gently sweet, with a delicious strawberry note. The strawberry is more delicate than the green tea, which I like.

Delicious.

Thanks to: LIberTEAs
Song Association: Lynyrd Skynyrd – That Smell
Why, you ask: Because when I sold candles I was searching for the PERFECT smelling Creme Brulee…and when I finally found it I said THAT SMELL!!!! LOL

Yes…
This smells JUST like that perfect smelling Creme Brulee Candle I was searching for years ago.

The taste is a little lighter than I thought it would be…more subtle. It’s like this…you have your Rooibos and then you have your flavoring…so…in short, it’s a good flavored rooibos but you can still taste the rooibos.

This is alright! Pretty Good, indeed!

drank Very Berry by Tea Oh

So after a week of being sick, I can FINALLY taste and smell again!!! In celebration I decided to go for something really fruity. Color is a really pretty Dark berry color. Taste is very berry, but not really raspberry like the description says. Not bad though, but tates as though there is blueberry and strawberry as well. Tates a bit floral as well. Overall not a bad tea.

drank Cocoa Caramel Chai Tea by Tea Oh

Starting my day with this tea…. getting a late start on the day because the morning was filled with errands and I didn’t have time to make tea before I got started.

Now, I can sit back and relax a little bit, and enjoy this chai!

I brewed it in water – strong – and added a splash of milk to the finished product. I didn’t want to froth the milk this time around because I wanted to taste it first without the milk (I’m finding that I like more and more chai teas without milk)… but I found that the chocolate and caramel notes are so much richer with the milk.

There is a pleasing balance of spice, chocolate and caramel… I like that I can taste chocolate, caramel and spice all at once, without having to really TRY to focus or think about what I’m tasting to see if it’s there… because, with this tea, the flavors are in there.

Even better, I can taste the tea too. This is a really good chai!
