Thank you to TeaEqualsBliss for sending me a bit of this tea…

This is an awesome Oolong. Beautiful flavor – sweet, honey-esque with a lovely fruit undertone. Beautiful.

I love Oolong, and my favorite is Ali Shan, but, Formosa Oolong teas hold a very dear place in my heart. This is an excellent Oolong.

Currently on the 3/4 infusion from my gaiwan. The flavor of these combined infusions is even better than 1/2. So lovely! Very very lovely!

5/6 infusion… still very delicious! I love this Oolong.

Thank you to TeaEqualsBliss for sending me a sampling of this to try.

I tried to find this on the special-teas, etc website but couldn’t.

This is really tasty – even if it has a weird name (or name spelling). The berry flavor is plentiful here, and it is fruity and juicy enough to conceal the sometimes funky-tasting rooibos as well as the often-too-tart hibiscus. It is enjoyably tart and beautifully sweet.

I really like it.

Thank you to TeaEqualsBliss for sending me a sampling of this tea!

This is a very smooth tasting tea. I can taste the Irish cream liqueur… which adds nicely to the smoothness. The blackberry leaves add some sweetness and a fruit-like essence that lingers throughout the sip. Very little astringency.

Just a very pleasant cuppa… a pot of this would be an excellent way to spend the afternoon.

Well, that’s just lovely. My internet has been on the fritz for a few days and it just ate my review for this tea…so…here it goes again, but not nearly as clever, sorry!

This is incredibly smooth and creamy and I can taste the floral and berry-leaf hints underneath it all. I can smell the cream and sunflower seeds as well – on top of the black tea scent – of course.

This is a delight! Different and yummy!

This ‘brews up’ REALLY dark for a Rooibos!!!! It looks like a dark black tea…dark brown in color. I can primarily smell the Elderberries and Blueberry. It smells nice!

All of the ingredients together interrupt the stereotypical Rooibos flavor and for that I am grateful! I’m always looking for a really good flavored rooibos! Especially now that I am trying to have at least one each day!

All of the ingredients mesh well…nothing is too overpowering at all. These are really good flavors to put with rooibos and a very tasty cup!

I typed the name of the tea as it was on the label – just so you don’t think it’s a typo :P

Rabs

Am I the only one who thought of the “Beneful” dog food brand? :(

I admit…I did at first too! LOL

This is the first Special Teas Etc/Three Thousand Leaves Tea I have tried and am VERY excited!!! This smells JUST LIKE ICE WINE prior to infusion…as well as after infusion. The scents become more identifiable after the infusion is complete. Grapes…yum…
I can certainly taste the ice wine comparison. There is a pear taste as well. There is a caramel finish on it. It’s VERY VERY sweet just like the wine! I can’t wait to try this iced but I will say it is wonderful hot!

AFTERTHOUGHT
This has almost a minty after taste…how strange but yummy!

Julia

I am going to have to try this tea again before I rate it. It had and awesome smell and initial taste, but the aftertaste to me was very floral- almost like perfume. I dumped the glass.
