I’ve had this before but…This morning, just moments ago, as I was sipping this tea…I woke up. Woke up to it’s subtle flavor. This is a flavor that I discounted as being too much under my sense radar for an early morning brew. And yet today…WOW…that flavor, that sophisticated flavor wasn’t under MY radar. Rather, I was not aware enough to allow that flavor and bouquet to satisfy. Today…this is very, very good!

This is a tad sweet. It lacks a boldness that I would want in a first cup in the morning. I have been comparing this with Mighty Leaf Organic Breakfast for about a week and ML continues to come out on top b/c of its bold rich character. o well…I will continue the experiment.

It is described as being “robust and sweet”. Well it is nicely sweet but not at all robust. A bit “thin” and, after my first cup, not necessarily for a weekday morning – perhaps Sunday am. Before ranking, I owe it another cup.

Mid afternoon…wanted a little boost but not too much caffeine. This tea is perfect. It is smooth in the mouth with a hint of sweetness…and just enough caffeine to compel me to write this short review:)

I don’t know what it is about Rooibos teas, but I cannot stand them. This tea has a very distinct overwhelming licorice flavor. It’s too rich so that I can’t taste the “lemon grass tang” two leaves’ description claims (sorry guys). I wonder what other people think about this tea. Perhaps, I just don’t like rooibos.

On the nose, there is a distinct tangy orange aroma, notably from the Italian red orange. As I move on to drink the tea, I would like to note the smooth, light body and clean finish. I compare the finish to that of a very light orange sorbet, meant to cleanse the mouth for the next course. The flavor is a light green tea that is mellowed out and I would say complimented with the safflower petals and orange. The triad of ingredients allows this tea to be a fine experience from start to finish.

A good tea if steeped a little short. But it gets a little “phlegmy” at the end. (too gross?)

This tea has an intense green tea flavor, almost too instense. I tend to use a smaller portion of leaves and under-steep it to make it less overwhelming. Once the green tea flavor is reduced it’s a good cup of tea.

Definitely ordering a pouch of this. Enjoying with a bit of milk and NC wildflower honey.

This may become my staple breakfast tea. Malty aroma, complex. Brews nice from te sachet. May try to order some loose to have on hand though…

This was my first time trying this brand and this type of green tea, and I was pretty impressed. The sachet was silky and had plenty of space for the leaves to infuse. The flavor was very mild and lightly sweet. Of the new teas I have sampled (from a traveling tea box) this week, this one is so far, my favorite. I will most likely purchase this tea in the future.

I like the combination of ginger and chamomile. Since it was afternoon, I didn’t want any caffeine. Plus I have a canker sore and this combination seems to be very soothing.
