This stuff is REALLY good for digestion. I have issues with GERD so sometimes nothing will help except this. I usually drink it after a meal if I’m too full or keep having indigestion. It helps my food digest better and gives me relief from feeling so full and bloated.

This tea is pretty good. The taste is not the best but it’s not terrible either. I usually mix it with another type of tea just to give it a better flavor. It does work pretty much as intended. I get better relief just by sitting over the steeping tea bag and breathing in the vapors. Good stuff.

You mentioned that you usually mix Breathe Deep with another tea to give it better flavor, may I ask which teas you blend it with?

Charnita Fance

Well, it has been awhile since I’ve drank this tea, but if I remember correctly usually a mint green tea or an herbal berry tea like pomegranate. Anything with a flowery, berry or mint flavor is sure to help!

This has quite a gingery kick to which some might find overpowering. Can’t taste the lemon at all.

I often drink this one before bed. Definitely does what it says on the label and is a lovely color in the cup.

I seriously have been having a problem with Yogi Teas lately. I don’t remember them being so BLAH or BLEH or ICKY.

I just can’t drink this one either. I must of at one point because I only have 4 bags left…but MAN OH MAN!

It’s peppery and spicy and Medicine-like and plastic-tasting…ewe…

It’s very cloudy/murky…gross…another one down the drain…

Jillian

Urgh, you’re not having much luck today. :(

TeaEqualsBliss

Ah…no. Anyone want to send me some PITY TEA!? LOL

Heyes

I am not at all a fan of the stuff Yogi Tea calls Tea. Most of what I have had of their stuff is over spiced herbal infusions, even when the box says it has our darling tea on it. Overpriced, better served in a braising fluid than in a tea cup.

ChariTea

I haven’t had luck with Yogi Teas :/ I’ve tried a few and didn’t like any of them.

Carolyn

My reaction has been the same. Despite countless lectures from my inner self telling me I should like it, I just don’t. I’m such a bad yogini.

laurenpressley

I love this note and comments. I’ve always felt weird that I didn’t love Yogi Teas, so I’m glad to know I’m not alone!

Heyes

Let’s all like this review.

TeaEqualsBliss

I know it…I really want to…I do have some more so I might have to revisit to see if I can find one I like again or still or at all…lol…

ChariTea

I do like their boxes and little messages. With the boxes, I’ve flipped them inside out and used it to store box-less teabags. :)

I’m having a little of this to try to get rid of a lingering cough. I know ginger is usually for stummys (and I have had a little of that too), but I thought the spice might help with my congestion.

This is sweeter than I remember, did they change the formula? Picking up much more licorice root than before, which might also be good for my throat.

Overall, I still enjoy it!

I actually had this yesterday while at work, but then went out drinking with work people, and well, then all hell broke loose. So now that I’m awake, I’m logging.
I love this one, helps my stomach and just tastes good. Such a bite to it, puts some fire in your belly, and warms the rest of you too.

This is a great stand-by for when you are so sick you can’t be bothered with using fresh ginger, or heading down to the West African or West Indian market for some already prepared fresh juice. It goes well with honey, and will make you feel better.

I like this little chocolatey tea. It’s very nice with milk, especially if you heat or froth that too, and best to just let it steep. There has to be a fraction of the calories in a cup of hot chocolate, but gives you a very close feeling of being as indulgent.

This aromatic blend of herbs and spices really hits the spot, and it seems to be calming my nerves already.

Only contains raspberry leaves but tastes like a black tea. It’s pleasant but not particularly flavorful.

Trying a sample shared by a co-worker. Normally, I am suspicious of anything with licorice root—-so sweet it makes my tongue feel fuzzy. However, this has a couple kinds of mint and some lemongrass in it to counteract the sticky taste. Three sips have not yet turned me into a mental giant; however, should that happen, you will be the first folks I notify.

Please do. I’ll be rushing off to the grocery store if it does.

ahhhh one of those days where I stayed up way too late the nite before. Woke up way too early this am and was busy ALL DAY LONG. After a hot shower and a tiny nap…this tea is a perfect way to ease the ache in my head and relax me for the rest of the day. With just a half a tsp of honey its the perfect flavor. And it does indeed have a hint of apple to it :)

drank Women's Energy by Yogi Tea

This is probably my favourite tea ever, despite its overpriced teabagginess (and slightly unfortunate name). I wish they’d sell it loose… I love the sweet spiciness. Yum. I found it works great as a before-bed tea, despite the name. It probably makes me energetic when I believe in it though.

A friend got this for me when I was under the weather. I think it is great! Helps out with breathing, but also tastes lovely too. Everything in it works together to make a very comforting cup.

Now I get this out anytime I’m having breathing issues or when I just need something comforting to drink. Very nice tea.

A bit funky taste, neither lime nor lemon comes forward and the end result is flat and unfresh.

Very harmonic blend. Not too much of the lime, mint or anything – but that also makes it slightly boring. For those days when you want a low-key tea.

I seem to be in the minority, but I love this tea. It is strongly flavored, and just breathing in the steeping licorice and eucalyptus seems to help. I have asthma and I tried this tea ona day in which I was having more trouble breathing than usual and was coughing a lot. This tea really did seems to help some, especially with calming the cough. It’s not a cure, but a bit of extra relief is always welcome. It is a pretty strong tea with unusual flavor and heavy licorice taste and smell, so it’s definely not for everyone, but I loved both the taste and the effects and will certainly be buying more.

My husband (who also has asthma) found this tea useful too. His favorite for asthma attacks, though, is Breathe Easy by Traditional Medicinals.

Squee

With your recommendation in mind, I just bought some Breathe Easy. We’ll see how it goes!

drank Chai Redbush by Yogi Tea

Got this in the mail from TeaEqualsBliss (thank you!). It’s not bad but it’s not my favorite chai. Like others have said, it’s sweet on its own which I’m not a big fan of. (Most Yogi Teas I’ve tried so far have this sweetness, actually.) I’m guessing the Stevia Leaf is the culprit in this one! Other than the sweetness, I really like this one because it doesn’t contain pepper, which most chai teas do. It also doesn’t have any caffeine, which is nice right before bed.

This tea is all kinds of weird. The ingredients are basically everything that’s good for a sore throat, but the end result tastes a lot like the way Vick’s Vapo-Rub smells. I guess that’s the eucalyptus in it? It has a strangely sweet aftertaste as well, which is probably from the ground licorice. If they ditched the cinnamon, this would taste exactly like absinthe. I added a teaspoon of honey. That improved it a bit, but I still didn’t finish my cup.
