It’s hard to over steep this tea, as I let it steep for about 10 minutes and it didn’t get bitter. In fact, I liked the longer steep a little more as the flavors come through a bit better.

The toasted rice flavor comes through really strongly, reminding me of popcorn. It’s also a very traditional Japanese tea that reminds me of the tea you get at a Japanese/Chinese food restaurant.

I let this one cool before drinking, and the earthyness mellowed out and was replaced by a little bit of bitterness.

Smooth taste with a hint of fruit flavor that doesn’t overpower. A very nice tea that’s perfect for a cool morning.

Love the earthy flavor, and the great red color. Not a strong aroma, but pleasant. Like the description says, this is a great breakfast tea.

Definitely a subtle tea, which makes me wish the flavors were a bit stronger. Sounds like it could make for a nice iced tea, so I might have to give that a try. Not bad, just not my favorite.

Steeped this one for a minute or two less than yesterday, and the smokey flavor didn’t come through as strongly. Gave it a much smoother taste, though I think I liked the smokey flavor a little more.

A very smokey flavor that I love, though I wish it had a smokey aroma as well. Nice, dark color when brewed right, making this a great tea to drink by itself.

“Delicate flavor” is right! This tea is smooth and subtle for a black tea, making it a good way to start the morning.
