Since these are kinda pricey and 100% floral blends give me headaches, I tend to mix the pearls in with other teas. Tonight I mixed it with a floral Ti Kuan Yin and came out with a delightful spring blend. Very light, the jasmine gently comes through with this delicate oolong, and the oolong itself lends a nutty base. They complement each other very well and it was a good mixture for the spring weather we’ve been having. The weather and this cup of tea are like a breath of fresh air.

I was very curious when I ordered this (the name “icewine” was interesting!) and I was not disappointed with my purchase. It is a flavored black tea, and the flavor is delicate but definitely something so different I noticed right away. It tastes like a cool faint grape, with a tinge of the flavor that a lighter wine carries. It is hard to describe because the flavor seems to morph with every sip I take. Definitely interesting and enjoyable.

This is a personal favorite. The flavor is sweet enough to not need any sweeteners, but when you do add something (such as honey) it really enhances the apple flavor. It is a personal favorite to be sure. Made a pot for a friend and I to share while sitting next to a fire & watching a movie. Very cozy.

FYI: This tea has been discontinued by Teavana. Most disappointing. :(

The smell when opening the tin is powerfully sweet & fruity. The whiff makes it abundantly clear that an addition of sugar/honey is not necessary.

It is a very delicate oolong, whose flavor blends very well with the pomegranate. As far the the pomegranate flavor goes: wonderful. Most pomegranate teas seem too tart or bitter, but this is the closest I’ve come to tasting that seed flavor in a hot tea.

Does not do well with additional steeps.

drank Holiday Tea by Harney & Sons

I bought this around the holidays, and it has certainly come into good use while we have 20" of snow fall on the 12" we had on the ground already. Not bitter, like many black teas I’ve had, with a very subtle citrusy sweetness that lends itself well when adding a dollop of honey. Just the right amount of spice to get the chill out.

I love this tea. Usually keep 3 bags in my purse to get me through a long day at work. Spicy, sweet, and with just the right amount of apple, I find this to be a staple in my cabinet. Alas, my local grocer stopped carrying it. Mixed it with meadowfoam honey to enhance the sweet apple.

Love this. I got it because the area I’m in is being hit with a nor’easter and the weather is cold, damp, and fairly miserable. This tea warmed me right up! Mildly fruity and very spicy.

drank Chocolate Chai by Adagio Teas

I really enjoyed this. I tried it in a local tea room before buying, and found that I liked the chocolate note being very subtle as opposed to IN YOUR FACE sweet. The spices seem gentler than other chai blends I have in my cupboard. It is light, spicy, and sweet. Very enjoyable.
