drank Sour Cherry Serenade by Teavana

Preparation Details:
Zarafina Tea Maker: Black, Loose, Medium, 2 cups water, 4 scoops tea
Sweetened with rock sugar, then iced.

Definitely sour and puckery, but I like sour and puckery. The cherry is very strong, much stronger than the black tea flavor. I can’t seem to decide if I like this better iced or hot. I think it’s less puckery when it’s iced.

I know from experience that a second infusion would taste like black tea and have no cherry, so I don’t bother.

More lemony than strawberry at first, but the strawberry lingers. Very refreshing. One of my favorite iced teas, especially for evenings (when I need to avoid caffeine).

I never found a rooibos that I liked until this one (though my earlier trials were with grocery store teabags… blah). It’s fruity and citrus, but not too tangy.

This is my all-time favorite black tea. The strawberries give it a light sweetness that is simply delightful.

My only caution is that if it’s brewed too long it WILL turn bitter. It is a black tea, afterall.

I LOVE Jasmine teas, and I found this one to be lacking in the Jasmine flavor and rather bland.

Definately can only get one brew out of a bag; trying for a second is a futile effort.

Good aroma, good taste, but the aftertaste is like SOAP! Only good if you like overly floral teas.

This is drinkable when mixed with Teavana’s Rooibos Tropica.

Alone, it’s bitter and tastes almost like coffee.

With milk, the milk overpowers the spices and you’re left with black tea and milk.

There’s almost no pumpkin taste at all, just some spice.

Cofftea

A pumpkin pie tea tasting like coffee??? Strange. But I like coffee:)

Yeah, it’s definately strange. I personally think that the idea of drinking tea with milk is WEIRD, so that shows my level of desperation that I even TRIED milk with this one (well, I put milk in my coffee, and it tastes kinda like coffee, so maybe it’ll be okay…. :-)
