I was writing a tasting note for this one, then Safari crashed on my iPad and my iPad’s battery died. I didn’t want to get my computer out and then I realized I could log it on the app on my phone.

Still, I’m not going to write a long post with my thumbs. This will be a quick note to say that I really enjoyed this tea and it really lives up to the rose and chocolate notes. Yum. Thanks so much to MissB for sending me this one and I will write a more detailed note later.

Two at once sipdown so that I can try this recommended combo! I am happy to be drinking these teas again, but sad to be sipping them down right now.

I like this blend of the two, especially since the divine temptation mellows the smokiness of the creme brûlée. However, I still love the divine temptation by itself most of all, and I may seriously have to acquire more of that tea eventually. I am a sucker for a well-done desert tea!

Finishing off my sample of this tea. I enjoy this tea pretty well, but a white tea has to be exceptional for me to really crave it, and this one doesn’t really fit that category. It’s a pretty standard Fuding silver needle, and I do enjoy those a bit more than some others. But this one doesn’t really have the sweet marshmallowyness that they can sometimes get, so it doesn’t really find a place in my cupboard.

More sample finishing in the lead-up to my drink-through-every-tea-in-my-cupboard-from-oldest-to-newest marathon (I need some snappier name for that, haha). I am thinking that will start Monday.

I like this one pretty, but I don’t think it will be a reorder for me as I just don’t really find myself super excited about it. When I drink it, it’s good, but the smell of the dry leaf (and somewhat the steeped tea) is a little smokier than I prefer. It doesn’t really translate to the flavor (I have a low tolerance for smokiness) but all the same, it diminishes my enjoyment ever so slightly. But otherwise its a nice nutty, figgy tea that successfully gives off a middle-eastern/north african vibe.

I had an exhuasting morning, and I am finally getting to the point where I am “catching up” with everything I usually do in the morning. Including drink tea! I finished up my sample of this one from MissB, thanks again!

This is just so lovely, and one I would consider restocking in the future. And this is a tea I thought I wouldn’t be into! Just the right amount of chestnut for me, I think, with a nice oolong base underneath. Glad I got to try this one.

This time, I’m getting marshmallow. This was a really nice cup of this tea. Bright orange, rich chocolate, sweet fluffy marshmallow, all on a tasty, interesting base tea. Thanks again to MissB for a sample of this one!

Thanks to OMGsrsly for sending over a sample of this one. I have to admit, I’ve been avoiding it a little bit because puerhs, especially flavored puerhs, still scare me a little bit. But I have a bit of a stomach ache and figured now was as good a time as any to go for it. :)

Well color me impressed. Not only does this tea actually smell good to me (so rare with puerh), it tastes even better. Sweet and nutty and really quite tasty. It doesn’t read as distinctly strawberry, but more like a berry and hazelnut tart. The puerh does have a breadiness, but it could also be described as a pastry flavor. I am amazed. I enjoy it more the more I drink it. This may be the only puerh I’ve rated in the 90s. Thanks so much for sharing, OMGsrsly!

When I smelled this one as it was brewing and immediately afterward, I really did not think eggnog. I’ve been sipping at it a bit as it cools to drinkable temperature, and I have to say it is definitely filling the creamy niche. There is something familiar about the flavor here but I can’t quite place it. Not really eggnog, but maybe the added spices. A creamy, spiced thing going on here. Not getting any “spiked” about this, but that’s ok. As it cools, bitterness from the black tea is becoming more prevalent unfortunately. Still, the rest of the flavors are pretty tasty; if only it had a better-quality tea base! :)

I have OMGsrsly to thank for this sample, although at the leaf to water ratio that is recommended it is more than just a sample! I drink 12oz cups of tea at work, so I estimated about 0.75 tsp for my cup (recommended: 1 tsp for 16oz).

This is an interesting tea. It is decidedly not a typical Earl Grey Cream, although it contains those flavors. The flavors were fairly subtle in this one, and although I wouldn’t call the cup weak, I will probably try this with a bit more leaf before rating it. The bergamot had a sweetish, cookie-type quality (that probably only I actually associate with cookies, haha), which was accentuated by the vanilla. At the same time, the vanilla was pretty laid back and not overwhelmingly creamy. Very interesting tea! Glad I have enough of it to experiment with.
