I’m not sure how I feel about this tea. The concept is great – a black tea with mint and coconut notes. I tried it both hot and cold (and this one I certainly prefer cold). Hot, to me, this tea tastes overwhelmingly like rooibos, which I am not a fan of for the most part. However, the other pick me ups in the tea almost make up for this and I find the rooibos isn’t nearly as present when it’s made iced with a bit of milk.

How the story goes is that one day, a feeble, weakened graduate student decided to stop ingesting so much caffeine and additives (sugar, cream, milk) and instead headed for the land of tea.

I should probably mention that I’ve been drinking tea… pretty much since I can remember. The beauty of growing up in a still-semi-Euro family! I was introduced to green teas and pu’erhs by herbalists and acupuncturists in my teens.
