just bought my very first yixing teapot & have a question!

tried to look at earlier discussion but couldn’t find the answer, so here is another go…

I jsut bought my very first yixing pot, 175 ml. purple clay. (it’s a black one actually ..) According to the seller (reputable seller hotsoup in NL) it’s a purple clay high-temp fired pot.
Can s.o. pls explain the differernce and the benefits of high-fired vs low fired? Seller says this one gives less back, because of the high fired temp, but I still don’t understand the difference/benefits of a high temp fired vs a low fired pot.
No expert and no intention of becoming a collector, just couldn’t resist this cute little pot that I will use for my oolongs!
Help?

TIA
Sandra
