Just a note – in your email announcing the winner, you stated the winner’s first name + last initial and her Steepster handle. I obviously can’t speak for anyone else but personally I value my privacy, even on here, and would not necessarily want that information publicized in tandem. Does the winner have any say in how you identify them?
While I didn’t mind, I agree it would be a good idea to ask future winners for permission to be identified.
Yeah that is something we are very much going to address this next month. We will make sure that we only use non-connecting names. Like your first name without your Steepster user name or just your Steepster user name.
