Little Terri's Long Awaited Ultimate Sipdown Extravaganza!!!
Hallallujah!! I just updated my tea document, and I must have missed a few sipdowns or something, because my actual end of the month total is 190!!
Since I’m under 200, that means I can place an order for black/red tea from one tea company this month, if I want to. I’ve been thinking I should order from one company per month. I haven’t decided who yet.
And I guess my new goal for October is to get down to 150… or maybe 175…
Careful! One order could be a slippery slope! I’m trying to wait until November with the exception of cardamom French toast haha. Great job on getting under 200 :)
LOL, yup! I did place my one order of the month, with Teavivre, and it’s kind of ridiculous, but lets just say I was getting low on black teas and they have several that I enjoy :)

My sipdowns have really slowed down this month, but I am still plugging along. Since I was below 200, I allowed myself an order from Teavivre, who I hadn’t ordered from for some time. I was really getting low on black teas, just 8 different choices! LOL, that’s not enough! I need to have 30 choices, a different one for each morning of the month, right?
Anyway, my Teavivre order, with 14 new blacks (some are samples), will round things out nicely, but I’ve made a rule that I can only open 1 package at a time, and only after I’ve completed a sipdown. I’m especially trying to clear out the non-black teas, any ‘novelty’ teas, etc. But I am also trying to polish off those older black teas in my collection.
I also picked up some Assam and a few breakfast blends from Traveling Tea, which is less than a mile from my house, because I was craving something super bold. I only bought small quantities, like an oz or two of each one. I’m not going to add anything into my spreadsheet until the end of the month, and I’ll also update my numbers then as well.

Only 8 choices for black teas is scary. I’m trying to hold off for November before I order again since I’m so close to getting to 4kg/55 teas.
I think we should hold on sending each other anything until after the new year, LOL.
Then maybe we can start our Black box up again?

Actually weighed my cupboard this month, so number is a little more accurate than last month. It also means i managed to hit my weight goal early by two months! so that means i can splurge a bit next month with any black friday sales i feel i MUST participate in haha.
I just don’t think I could handle weighing everything, LOL, but my hats off to you! It really is a better, more accurate view of how much tea is in your collection, and the awesome progress you have made!!! (extended applause).

Not quite where i wanted to be, but damn close! Now to devise a new goal for 2017 and something that includes all my puerh…which has not gotten a lot of love this year.

On the topic of Puerh, I need to start drinking mine too.
