For the record, depending on how fast this goes I may have moved to Maryland by my turn. Moving date is supposed to be end of March but could change.

I tried to follow Tea Junkie, but when I click on their name Steepster says their profile page doesn’t exist anymore… o.O

I think its a steepster issue. I was able to PM him okay, and his profile link works from some of our messages, but not others. Weird.
If he doesn’t get back to me, I’ll let you know.

It figures. I just got the box from China – a week too late. The good news is that we managed to put together a pretty good box (with a little help from my friends) without it.

UPDATE: The USPS has gone totally nuts: shipping from Massachusetts to New York via New Hampshire and North Carolina. Someone must have flunked Geography in 7th grade! Hopefully it will arrive some time this week.

I think the weather is fouling them up. I had a package scanned out of the depot in Pittsburgh three times before it was actually able to be shipped out.

Same here. Had two packages from NY supposed to go to PA but have (so far) made their way through MA and NH. Must be the weather.

OK it’s finally here and safe!!!

Since I have no time to do gongfu sessions during the week anymore, I’m going to take and add, and then ship it within the next couple days. My tasting notes will be sparsely uploaded…

I’m glad you (finally) got the box. When I asked for two day delivery, the post office guy must have thought I said ten.

And then the message was passed along to everyone else on the line…along with, “Make sure it goes on vacation in North Carolina!”

Don’t be fooled by numbers.

I’ll be able to start having sessions this weekend. Looking forward to trying everything, especially the sheng, which I hope to become better at tasting!

Is Moonlight White pu-erh? Some places have it in the sheng section, others in the white so I’m not sure.

I added a bit more than I took, but one of the Butiki pouches had opened up and we lost a decent amount in the bottom of the box. The zip on the pouch seems to be broken so I sealed it with a bit of tape as I don’t have a pouch large enough to hold it all.
