Good Green Tea....bags?

Trying to find a green tea that comes in steepable bag form, has a good traditional Japanese flavor, and isn’t crazy expensive. Anything remotely like that out there? Have been contemplating trying Yamamotoyama Green Tea bags. The three teas I’ve had previously are Lipton Green [kinda meh but decentish], Bigelow Green Tea [pretty flavorless but not bad], and Rishi Sencha Green Tea [Pretty darn good if steeped right, but expensive and not in easy to use bags]. Thoughts? Thanks!

I really like Ten Ren for bagged green tea, though that’s a Taiwanese company. Den’s Tea makes a tasty bagged Japanese green.

Thanks for the recommendation. When my current green tea stash runs out I may have to try Ten Ren, even if it isn’t Japanese.

I second the Den’s Tea recommendation. I really love Den’s, and the sample bags I’ve gotten have been super tasty. :)

Yamamotoyama makes pretty decent teabags. I have enjoyed a cup of their genmaicha and hojicha from time to time. They are really reasonably priced and quite easy to find. I say go with that!

+ 1 to the Den’s suggestion. Their sencha and genmaicha extra green are fantastic. Definitely get the beginner’s sample package if you haven’t already http://www.denstea.com/bnew-to-dens-teab-c-377.html

Sugimoto’s are worth a try as well http://www.sugimotousa.com/mm5/merchant.mvc?Screen=CTGY&Store_Code=SU&Category_Code=TP

And Harney’s has a decent sencha in teabag form https://www.harney.com/wrapped-sachets-sencha.html
