Free Tea: Subscription Reviewers Wanted (www.curioustea.com)

A big hello to everyone at Steepster!

It’s our first post here and we are excited to be able to reach such a large community of tea lovers!

We are wondering if anyone would like to receive some free tea in return for a review of our subscription?

We are looking for volunteers with blogs or other platforms to provide a review of our monthly tea subscription boxes. If you are interested, please get in touch with me on Steepster or at [email protected] with your details (your box preference, your address and where you can publish your review) and we will send you one of our monthly boxes for free.

Also a little word about us. Curious Tea launched in December 2014 and we offer three different monthly boxes dependent on your tea preference: Light, Dark and Mixed. Each month our subscribers receive a box containing two different teas, 50g of each. We aim to source unusual and interesting teas alongside with other more familiar ones. We ship worldwide from the UK (shipping is free within the UK and extra worldwide depending on your country).

I look forward to hearing from anyone who is interested!

wow… im surprised at how FEW volunteers this got .

I just wonder how many people feel they have a “tea platform”? I write for a living, and I’d love to try this, but… I don’t write about tea and don’t plan on starting any time soon, other than tasting notes here.

I agree with kristinalee. I don’t have a blog or any other tea platform to review the teas so I didn’t feel right taking advantage of such a generous offer. The exception being Steepster, of course!

I think a lot of people tend to make contact without posting here. That is typically the experience at least. :)

I would have volunteered but I don’t have a blog or platform.

Yeah, me too, and I mean, I"d be happy to do it if they still need people. But if I ever write anything about tea to be seen anywhere other than steepster, it’s probably going to be something about the political economy of tea and the persistence of neocolonial and sommetimes outright racist terminology in the tea trade — or something else about the politics of tea. I only get hired to write for political publications — that’s not necessarily a personal choice as much as it’s… I only have contacts in political writing and academia.

me too…. had my eye on the club before this offer came along, and am really interested, since it’s EU based… (I simply don’t have the patience to wait for my teas to arrive that long… since most of the teaclubs are overseas for me..)

I cannot wait to get my samples… decided to go for the mix, so I’ll get a green tea and a black one.
