I have posted about tea and tea related foods but not about tea-ware so I would like to include some information for those who are curious.
Tea-ware is not only specialized here but is quite common. Prices will vary depending on where you go, but to help give a general feel I am going to show you what I’ve seen at the local Seiyu store which would be comparable to a Walmart.
These are common teapots that range from about $3 to max $18

Thermoses have a few rows depending on what sort you are looking for, to understand prices of personal size ones I took a picture of one of the sections so you can see pricing: http://postimg.org/image/y010lwudp

Kettles are all over but I just want to show you how large they get. This is kettle is almost 3 liters! It was quite interesting to pick it up: http://postimg.org/image/ubmuqhglx

I walked into some sort of store that seemed like Target (trying to be healthier and the feel of simple) and found a few interesting teas that are made in Japan
http://postimg.org/image/morlzaol7 – The instant ginger rooibos chai caught my attention because I knew it was made in Japan, but rooibos is an odd thing to see around here.
http://postimg.org/image/8jcnu2fyn – This is a selection of aroma teas that include: Grapefruit Lemongrass, Strawberry Champagne, Muscat Green Rooibos, and Blood Orange Earl Grey.
If you are interested in these teas PM me because they are decently priced and I will probably end up with all of them :)

I have also been finding tea stores all over now that I know what to look for. Lupcia’s are all over and I also found a Mikuniya Zengoro here.
I also think I passed by a store with pu’erh cakes but I have to find it again because I was unsure at the time… but if it is, I will be surprised.
