Tea things to do in New York!

Today we walked down Columbus st the whole length of Central Park and a little beyond. I’m so tired. I got to check out Palais de The, Kusmi, and Argo Tea.

Palais de The was super cute. I love the format of the samplers (tea test tubes)
Kusmi booth was in the Plaza food mall. The packaging is soo pretty! But the SA didn’t have much interest in talking to us. The tins are so large! 4.4oz or 8.8 oz. Such a big commitment… If you’re in the food court ‘Lady M’ bakery is right next to it, you should try the crepe cake.
Argo was the only one of the three that brews tea on the spot as drinks to buy. Its so corporate, like Starbucks for tea. I had the Jasmine green Teamosa. It was ok… over brewed jasmine green with orange juice. Better when spiked with milk.

Yesterday I had the surprise of having to pay for hot water. At Dunkin Donuts I offered my thermos and they said No, but they can give it to me in a cup… they didn’t even mention the charge, they just stuck it on the receipt. So apparently in NY water isn’t free. In this regard I say CA trumps NY… and CA is in a drought. Or maybe just Dunkin is a money grabber.
