Notes you get out of a tea no one else does... weird tastebuds unite!
So for the last few days I’ve been tripping out… I swear I am getting tropical notes out of Crimson Lotus’s 2014 Kunlu Veck sent me. Like Pineapple and Frangpani, with an undertone of a green Bulang…
No one else I’ve talked to gets anything remotely like that out of it.
So what are some teas you’ve tried that taste like something completely different than anyone else’s tasting notes?
I remember getting faint chocolate notes off a white tea but can’t remember which white tea or company it was.
I get that all the time! I was drinking a GABA oolong the other day and all I was getting was some dark clover honey notes, while I read that others were getting yams, caramel and lilies. I often taste completely off flavors that may just be from the environment I stored it in at the time.
