Charleston Tea Plantation 2015 First Flush is ready

Just wanted to post this since a couple of people expressed interest in this First Flush black tea after last season had sold out. I got the notice on Twitter and the tea is NOT yet in the online shop. But you can order it over the phone from the gift shop at the plantation, as I just did. I was told that the First Flush tea is only three days old in the tin today.

This American tea leaf is a bit thinner than tea leaves from China, however the black tea has flavors of vanilla, maple and aged oak. It really grew on me, I am down to one session left in my tin.

$15 a tin over the phone, I ordered two tins and the shipping is $8.95.

On May 24, the plantation is having a First Flush celebration with Sheryl Crow playing. That would be awesome, wish I could go!
