Im sure I am not putting the right amount of tea in my gaiwan/yixing at the moment because Im eyeballing what 5 grams looks like. Im really wanting to get a bit more precise with it and wonder what scale you guys use? I want a decent one, maybe one from a store that I can go pick one up (Bed Bath and Beyond, etc). I would even settle for Amazon as I have free shipping, but would rather pick one up if possible.

Any thoughts or suggestions?

Mine’s 2 years old. I’ve changed the batteries twice and use it every day. The lid is broken because an owl kicked it off the island.

You are supposed to calibrate it and buy some weight with it, but 2 US nickels does the job to calibrate or note how much it’s out. Mine’s out 0.1 so whatevs.
