The New Guide to Tea

In case you don’t feel like reading the post, its about this: http://teagui.de

Many of you know quite a bit about tea, some of you are new to tea. These forums are always full of questions and sometimes the answers aren’t clear.

We’ve written a new ebook about tea and we want to share it with the Steepster community. Jackie and I have been blogging for about a year now and we are avid consumers of tea information. We spend a lot of time searching the net for info and have always been amazed at how much junk there is.

We wrote The New Guide to Tea with the intent of clearing away a lot of the myth that people find on the net. We did it intending to give good, clear information to tea drinkers, novices and long-time tea drinkers.

I’ve been drinking tea for a long time, I’ve done so in many different countries around the world and I wrote the book because I wanted to know more. I wanted to know more, in a way that made sense. More importantly, given what I already knew about tea, I would still buy this book because it is filled with good, solid, basic information about tea.

You can find the book at http://teagui.de
It only costs $5.95, a price, I think you will find is well worth it.

We aren’t stopping there either. We have other big projects in the works to help spread the word about tea. The Tea Guide is just the first in a series of ebooks we are working on. The next is a collaborative project we are building with some other members of the community (and we are still looking for help with it, it’s a big project, but one anyone knowledgable about tea can contribute to).

Here’s the link again to the Guide: http://teagui.de

Thank You!

Thanks to everyone who has bought a copy of the Tea Guide. You have no idea how thrilled I am at the response we’ve gotten so far. We’ve received some good early feedback about the Guide and some additional questions that are useful in the FAQ section.

So, based on the feedback we’ve received, we’ve decided to make the guide something of an expanding project. The beauty of a digital product is that we can keep it updated with good information, forever. To that end, I added a second FAQ page with information that some customers still had questions about. Pretty important stuff that I debated putting in, but the feedback for it was positive. The main thing is information on the Leaf Grading system.

Everyone who has already purchased a copy of the guide will be getting the updated version via email soon. I’ll be doing this for anyone who ever purchases the guide – anytime we do a relevant or significant update, you’ll get that for free, forever.

For only $5.95, you’ll be getting a permanently updated, uncluttered, easy-to-understand guide to tea. If you haven’t already purchased a copy for yourself, checkout only takes a minute through PayPal and you can get it at http://teagui.de

Thanks again for all the wonderful support!
Pete
