Food Pairings

Has anyone on here ever found a really in-depth tea/food pairing guide? I’ve done some searching and most of the stuff I see is very surface level basic stuff.
This is the closest I’ve come to finding something truly in depth. http://www.thenibble.com/reviews/main/beverages/teas/pairing-tea-with-food.asp

Was wondering if anyone else has come across anything similar or more detailed than that?

And yes, I understand much of it will depend on the individual users preferences in terms of what tea to pair with certain food. But, I like guides and lists and graphics and in-depth analysis :)

This is a pretty good one as well – http://www.thewhistlingkettle.com/blog/tea-food-pairing/

But nothing super extensive. It seems like there is a gap in literature (i.e. books) as well – we will see if anyone knows of something brilliant!

Thanks! Yeah, I mean there are articles and books all over about pairing beer and wine with food. But it’s fairly limited with tea. The articles above do give a good jumping off point though. I would love to see it get to a point where each tea has listed, next to steeping information, different foods or cuisines to pair it with.

This lack of information may have something to do with the fact that if you go to a restaurant with the finest food in town you will be offered supermarket grade teabag to go with dessert. Only a few restaurants are now pairing fine tea with their food. Saw an article on it somewhere but can’t remember where.
