Adagio Teas is great for trying out. They have a huge selection and you can also get a decent amount of tea in their sample pouches.

I also really like DavidsTea. They always have some sort of tea sampler set available.

I have quite a stock of David’s tea since I made this post ;) I’ve liked Read My Lips so far, but have yet to find a rock my world blend. What’s your fav?

DavidsTea is REALLY fun. I’m lucky to live near one of their stores in San Francisco and I love going in and sampling their teas and looking at all the cute little boxes.

If you’ve got a sweet tooth we have a great selection of unique dessert type blends, like our Belgian Chocolate, Creme Brulee, & French Vanilla all loose black blends.

have you walked down the heavenly oolong path yet? dan cong, tie guan yin, milk oolong etc? When the balance of woody nature, sweet fruit, creamy oil & perfumed aroma is done well its one of the most satisfying experiences in my opinion

also liquid proust peachy elixir #9 if it gets made again (hint hint LP)

If you are looking for top quality and don’t mind paying a premium, then you might want to look into Whispering Pines. Some of their tea is absolutely phenomenal, but the price is too. If you are looking for high quality but good value then I still recommend www.svtea.com.
