I used to travel a LOT for work and I have a tea travel bag. I have the following in there right now: 2 blacks (imperial gold bud dian hong and north winds from whispering pines), 3 yanchas (joseph wesley qi lan, YS 9 year DHP and whispering pines wildcrafted DHP), a couple of shengs (hidden song from crimson lotus and wild mountain green from mandala), one small sealed pack of rolled oolong and a few YS mini tuo shu. I could get the yancha down to one if i HAD to – but I would still be at 7.

Pfft. I tend to pack my travel teas into small ziplock sample bags, and I can pack those anywhere. So I would be able to take as many teas as I want.

I have a 32oz stainless teapot that travels with me from time to time. It gets filled with shou puerh or black teas (more forgiving with water temp). I’m thinking of bringing a roasted oolong and some malty Assam on my next trip. I have a packing list app and tea is on any packing list I make!
