New to Pu'erh and Bad Experiences with Pu'erh: A Helping Hand

Thanks to your support; whether you donated, bought in, took free tea, or just read, this has been one crazy journey.

I just want to announce that I have official sent over 320 packages since this has started!

Still have a few people who want in, but they signed up for the pay it forward packages so we shall see. I think I am going to use Black Friday sales to purchase a bunch to send to those people as gifts.

This has only been possible with all of you. Now imagine 300+ people being involved in pu’erh, it’s quite possible that through my energy and the support/resources from you all that we may just jump start an awesome growth in the pu community.

Hi, I’m somewhat new to pu erh, I’ve only had 1 pure pu erh, the 1357 shou from whispering pines. I’ve never had raw pu erh, and would like to try it, as well as more shou to get a sense of the different offerings. I just followed you, I look forward to you getting back to me.

Just looking for suggestions on acquiring tuition tea, really good deals, and any other advice. Currently I do not have enough low to mid grade stuff to send everyone which means I’ll end up breaking into my 00’s cakes which is fine but if I can avoid some of that it would be great : )

Anyways, everyone’s support has been extremely appreciated. I’ve watched people get into new hobbies and make new friends over the last year’ish that I’ve done this. Hopefully I will continue to find people out there looking for a new hobby to engage with where people invite them in with open arms to have valued opinions and thoughts on this thing called tea/puer.

Each one has info about joining Steepster when the tea comes in! Hopefully we shall see some newer people getting involved on here which would be awesome.

I’ll probably be arranging some open discussion Skype calls for some of the newer drinkers but it’s open to all if anyone would like to jump in since the way I climb a mountain is not the way anyone else might but we all get to the top anyways : )
