Bamboo Wrapped Puerh Brick

So I got a ripe puerh brick which is wrapped in bamboo bark, which was then secured with a couple metal wires. The bamboo doesn’t seem particularly flexible, so my question is – Once I unwrap this brick, how will I wrap it back up again? Should I try to find a box or a bag for it instead of trying to put the bamboo back around it? Thanks!

Just break up the whole brick and put the pieces in a tin.

I suppose that is one solution, thanks.

or wrap it in pu paper if you have a spare one. brown paper lunch bag is fine too

AS Boychik said a brown paper bag works well. Bamboo bricks that come wrapped with wires are hard to rewrap. I usually put it back in the bamboo but don’t try to re wire it. I then put it in a brown paper bag as Boychik said.

You could steam the bamboo to soften it but the paper or a bag would be easier if you plan on getting into it often.
