New Tea Pairing request!

Last month, my tea and book club read The Mists of Avalon and I ended up pairing Violet Femme by Zhi Tea and it went over splendidly.

This month we are reading American Gods by Neil Gaiman. As always, I would love to get ideas from all of you, my fellow steepsters, on a tea that might match up well with this book, be it in style or concept. Thanks everyone!

I have not had the tea, but I think it fits thematically http://www.redlodgebooks.com/tea/black/odins-armpits/

Thank you so much for this suggestion. I ordered this and also their ’Murican Breakfast blend to match both the “Gods” and “American” part of American Gods. The tea, while having a very strong scent profile, was actually very smooth and drinkable, reminded many of some scotch profiles, and matched very well with the book. So many thanks to you!

If your looking for a Viking themed tea, Viking Moxie from www.moxtea.com might fit. It is actually a pretty good tea. They refer to is as a herbal but it has green and black tea so in my view it is not an herbal.

Assam Enigma from Vadham (previously Golden Tips)
Amba Chai from Single Origin Teas because it’s spicy and dangerous like Shadow
