The Finest Brew no show on orders

This came up on IG and figure I post here just in case others are having issues here on Steepster.

I ordered off The Finest Brew’s Black Friday/ Cyber Monday sale back in Nov 2015. I never got my order. I contacted them in Feb after Lunar New Year and they apologized, sending out another package apparently.

It’s now almost June and I have no package. I checked their website to pull their email and their website is dead http://shop.thefinestbrew.com/
I filed a paypal dispute. I did get an answer from the service they use for their shop, but they said to either wait for Finest Brew to respond or escalate to paypal, which I did after them not responding after a week.

Anyone else missing their order? I suggest you make a claim as it’ll not be covered sometime June or July by paypal. There’s a couple of us on IG missing ours. This really blows as I really wanted the tea I ordered PLUS I met this seller in person, who were really great. All us tea bloggers had a great time at their WTE booth last year.

edit: it took 4 days and escalation to paypal as the seller didn’t do anything, but I got a refund to my credit card. yay paypal!

I placed an order 06Dec15 and did not receive any shipping notification.
I emailed them 17Dec15 asking if it had been shipped – received almost an instant response indicating that it had been shipped 14Dec15 but no shipping details provided.
I didn’t get the package and emailed them an couple of times in Jan and Feb – they responded to those emails asking for patience. I asked for tracking info (the website at the time said it would be shipped 6-9 business days with tracking).
The last communication I got from them was at the end of February indicating that they would refund my credit card. I did not receive that refund so I opened a PayPal dispute and no one responded to any of PayPal requests. I received a refund from PayPal.

Sucks to hear that you also had issues with them. :((

Same happened to me. I puchased on black friday as a gift. They took so long to send out that the persons birthday came and went. I inquired on a refund and to cancel the order. They told me it was going to be sent the next day, and then after they cancelled the order. I emailed back and forth with them and was repeatedly lied to for months on the issuance of my refund. Finally, I gave up and counted it as a loss. Honestly, I’m still pretty pissed at them and I highly recommend not giving them any buisness. I tried tio file a paypal claim and it was cancelled.

Ha. I thought I was the only one having problems with this company. Same thing happened to me: didn’t receive the order, emailed the company, they said they would send me a refund. This was back in February, and I haven’t heard from them since or received the refund. I decided to let it go since it was a small amount, but yesterday I received an email from 2checkout.com saying that the amount would be refunded to my credit card :)
So maybe there is hope for the others who placed orders with Finest Brew.
