London--Anything New?

I’ve just moved to London and, though I know there’ve been past threads about the tea scene here, am wondering if there’s anyplace new and noteworthy I should be checking out. I know about Postcard, Yumchaa, Mariage Frères, the Twinings shop, Fortnum & Mason, but if anyone has tips on anywhere new or just off the beaten track post away!

Chinalife in Camden Town has gong fu tea facilities and a wide choice of teas. In Harrods there are few stands of loose leaf teas of different brands. Around the corner from Chinatown, near the Chinese bookshop, there is a shop that sells teas and teaware. In Spitalfields market there is a shop that also sells teas and teaware.

Those are the mortar and brick shops I know of but most of my teas are bought online either in China, UK or Japan.

Oh, cool! Will definitely put Chinalife on my list of places to check out.

Our tea shop is based in the UK – London! :) lthough it is online, we only sell to UK based clients so please check it out whilst you’re here!

We also do 20% off on all repeat orders.

Plus all of our profits now go to charity, so please support. We’ll also be going to Nepal to help re-build shelters for people! :)

Check out my 1st youtube video if you’re interested, as I explain the idea of tea in the UK and why there is so little genuinely good quality tea here despite the huge tea drinking culture! :) https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Jl30JNvUZDc
