Whispering Pines Flood Relief Fund

WPTC was recently hit by a big flood in our warehouse, devastating a large amount of inventory…

It is very hard to ask, but in this difficult time, we need your help to get back on our feet.

Good luck, I hope you didn’t lose all your puerh tea cakes.

Thanks Allan! Luckily, the pu is kept in a totally separated climate-controlled facility ;-)

That’s certainly very good news in light of all that what was lost. How deep was the flood water?

You’re very fortunate to have to have someone like Danielle especially at a time like this. She sounds like a very special and caring person who truly understands both you and your passion for Whispering Pines.

Sorry to hear about that, but I have to ask, you don’t have insurance?

AllanK said

In America, floods aren’t covered by your insurance policy. You have to have specifically bought flood insurance. I’m guessing they didn’t have flood insurance.

Not only is flood not covered, flood insurance cannot be purchased at all unless the property being protected is in a federally designated floodplain.

That part I did not know.
