A Quick Question for You!

Greetings Everyone!

I have a quick question for you – it’s something that I’m going to need a rather quick response to so I’ll be weighing my decision based on whatever responses I get to this question in the next week or so.

So here’s the issue at hand: In the past, the 12 Teas of Christmas box was a box of 11 reblends and 1 new tea. This year, I initially decided to do a box with 6 reblends and 6 new teas with one of those new teas being a tea of the week and 1 of them being an exclusive blend (exclusive to those who purchased the box).

My question is this: do you like the idea of 6 reblends and 6 new teas or would you rather me do a few more reblends (maybe 9 reblends) and 3 new teas?

Looking forward to your responses.

I likely won’t get a chance to pick this up (being transparent), but i lean more towards 9 reblends and 3 new teas since it gives more of a chance for some favourites to come back.

I like the idea of 6 reblends and 6 new teas – you get to try new teas and still enjoy classic favorites.

I lean more towards 9/3. Or even 8/4. ;)

I feel like I’m sort of leaning that way too, maybe more towards the 8/4.

Hmm I would be fine with either. But I do like the idea of 6 new. But for the re-blends are you going to do a vote or just choose what you are going to re-blend?

We had a poll on our website that was closed a couple of months ago that allowed people to vote on the reblends. We’ll be going with the highest vote getters of that poll.

Aw whoops I missed the poll. Oh well I know I’ll love whatever you ladies make ;-)

I like the idea of: Let’s Get Oolong for Christmas

:)

I will buy depending on base; rooibos and honeybrush gains negative points for me.

As interesting as an all Oolong box might be, I don’t know that it would end up being something that most of my customers would buy because of the cost that would have to accompany an all Oolong box.

On the subject of bases though – It’s currently (using the 6/6 model) set to be primarily mostly black and green tea bases with 3 teas that I call “others” – 1 is still a tea base but not black and green (but has a 100% chance of being an Oolong).

I vote yay for oolong bases. All your oolong blends that I’ve tried have been stellar.

I am in favour of 8/4 or 9/3. In future years, the ratios could change, but maybe at this point, it is safer to go with a larger ratio of the known and tested that you will improve by adding your own twist to.

Well, I’ve already given away one of my Oolong secrets – one of the teas in the box will be an Oolong. :)

The more I think about it, the more I like the 8/4 ratio.
