I’ve had some outstanding examples of fu cha from Shaanxi. Very mellow and smooth tea, and lots of purported health benefits do. Good stuff for sure, but not something I feel like drinking all of the time. As far as hei cha goes, I prefer my pu erh, liu an and liu bao.

wonderful! do you remember what brand fu tea do you have from shaanxi? and i think all kinds of different tea have their adventages. so we neend to try different teas in our life.

I don’t remember the brands now, but I have a friend in Xian who sent me some very good samples. I thought the Shaanxi tea was better than the Hunan fu tea! I agree that it’s a beautiful world of tea, and fu tea has its place too :)

haha, maybe i know your friend in xi’an, i live in xi’an, too. by the way, are you from HK?
