Unknown Tea from China
My husband’s coworker recently went on a trip to China and brought us back a beautiful canister of tea. From what I can tell, it looks and smells like black tea, but the only English writing on it says “Bosom Friend, Your Neighbor” and “Chinese Tea Gift”. The rest are characters. I’ve added the tea to Steepster with “Bosom Friend, Your Neighbor” as the title and “Chinese Tea Gift” as the company. I’ve also included some pictures of the canister and the tea itself. I was hoping that someone more knowledgeable than I could help me to identify the type of black tea (if that is indeed what it is) and also the company. I would like to list it correctly here if I can figure out what it is.
Hi Shae, this tea is called Jin Jun Mei, a lapsang souchong black tea from Wuyishan City, Fujian Province, China.
dear Shae, it is Jin Jun Mei,it is a kind of black tea,the specification of the tea show that it is produced in Anxi, Fu Jian province, raw material is Lapsang Souchong。
