Anybody got a favorite Moroccan Mint Tea?
I’d appreciate knowing what your favorite Moroccan Mint Tea is. All I know about it is that it’s generally composed of Gunpowder Green Tea Leaves blended with Peppermint. Given that not all Gunpowder Green Tea is created equal I’d like to start off with the best. Thanks. Bryan
Hi! I blend an Organic Moroccan Mint that my customers love. I use an Organic Imperial Gunpowder base that originates from the Anhui Province in China. The base has a marine taste that finishes lightly smoky. My blend pairs the Organic Imperial Gunpowder with organic spearmint and a touch of organic spicy peppermint for a sweet, smooth, and refreshing mint flavor. http://www.butikiteas.com/Teas.html
It’s not strictly traditional, but I really like the Casablanca Twist from Adagio. It replaces the gunpowder green tea with first flush darjeeling. You might enjoy comparing it to the traditional recipe, when you find the best version of it!

Yes so we are patting our own backs… but our Moroccan Mint actually has that strong Mint punch! No whimpy stuff :) We love it iced http://www.shopsanctuaryt.com/leaf/moroccan-mint.html

I might be up for a swap if anyone is interested for a cup or two worth. But if not NMTeaCo. has free shipping on any order I believe:)
I’ve only tried the World Market Tuoareg and the Republic of Tea Moroccan mint. I like them both.
