White2Tea subscription: what to expect

I’ve been looking around for a tea subscription for my birthday gift in march. I recently started to fall in to pu erh, and am intrigued by the white2tea subscription box. The only thing is, I’m not sure what I would be getting for my money.

For those of you who subscribe, what is your typical box like? How many types of tea do you get, and in what quantities? Do you find many things that couldn’t normally buy? What was in your last box?

I’ve reviewed every White2tea club box since launch. That’ll give you an idea what you get. http://oolongowl.com/category/tea-reviews/white-2-tea/

(not counting the Jan one, which has not arrived yet due to post being crap lately)

Amazing how much it has changed over the years…

Thanks! That helps me so much. It sounds like it’s totally worth it.

The quantity of tea varies. Sometimes they send a whole brick of something. Sometimes they send a smaller amount of in theory higher quality tea. In February we got 30g of sheng and two small packets of Long Jing green tea. I think this was the first time they sent green tea.
