Tea Swaps

Hi Sophia! Are you looking to swap face-to-face or through the mail? Personally, I’ve only done face-to-face swaps with personal friends, so I don’t have a lot of information to offer in that area. (But I’m sure there are other Steepsterites who could help you!) However, if you’re interested in swapping through the mail, I’d be happy to set up a swap with you and walk you through how to do it! Welcome to the wonderful world of swapping :)

To get ready for through the mail swaps, I’d suggest making sure your Steepster cupboard is updated to people can see the tea you have to offer. I’d also make sure you have something to package up tea samples in; most craft stores/dollar stores carry small ziploc bags which generally work well (I recommend double bagging to keep smells in, and wrapping in foil for especially potent teas). You can also buy foil sample bags online which work really well to keep smells in.

It would also help to know where you’re located/willing to mail to. Some people are comfortable shipping internationally, while others aren’t. We’ve got a diverse group here, so people can be pretty scattered around.

I also will update my cupboard for sure! And yes I dont have the bags you’re talking about on hand, but I do have a link saved for them so I could get them ordered if I was to participate in swapping :)
